I feel sorry for the next guy to sit in that seat

Right now we're on a bus to Fukuoka. About 30 seconds after we left the terminal, the guy in front of us started clipping his nails. His nails! On a long-distance bus! What the hell?! Is it okay to do that in Japan, the land where you can't blow your nose in public? I think not!

Or maybe he figures that if girls can put on make-up on the trains and in cafes, then he can cut his nails on the bus. That doesn't make it any less gross.
