Day Six point Five: Midnight Train to Georgia/Overnight Bus to Matsue

The purpose of overnight buses is to get on, go to sleep and then get of the bus in your target city. You'd think, to facilitate the sleeping, that these buses would be comfortable. You would be wrong. I had a seat that reclined, sure, but there was no leg room. None. I was in the middle aisle so people would bump me on both sides. We were sitting up front so we got a great view of the road and scenery. Until they closed the curtain that separated the cab from all the sleepers.

We were very sore and very tired by the time we de-bussed in Matsue. But caught up a little on my T.V. watching and podcast listening.
