Panda on the subway

Nate & Trev's plane landed in the rain. It was no typhoon, but not everyone's arrival in Japan can be as exciting as ours. Tyler brought them straight to Tennoji rather than Umeda, so it probably wasn't as surreal, either.

We gave the guys enough time to dump their stuff, eat, and shower, then we dragged them off to the aftermath of another Working Holiday party. By the time we got there, everything seemed to be winding down (they'd already settled their bill), yet no one actually seemed to leave. Finally we were led to another bar called Playpen, where we saw this:


so I guess the night wasn't a total bust. Plus Nate made a new friend.
